I’m an avid runner, and I play a lot of football. This lifestyle, paired with very little rest in between makes for one very sore person. I went to Family Podiatry Centre after calling them up to ask about my condition.
First of all, the staff on the phone was so helpful! She was very patient with me when I asked a lot of questions and assured me that I was making the right decision to come to the clinic.
The consultation itself was brilliant. I was taken in by another staff member to do a bit of walking on the treadmill and I was explained to the reasons why we were doing the walk. I was seen after that and let me tell you. The podiatrist was a god send. He was very knowledgeable about my condition and I felt like I was in great hands!

I went to the family podiatry centre when I went to visit my aunt in Singapore. As a diabetic I am conscious that foot care is vital to prevent complications. Unfortunately I had a very serious car accident in January 2018 where I fractured my pelvis and damaged my left sciatic nerve resulting in footdrop on my left side. I saw the centre’s director Mark Reyneker and I can truly say he was brilliant. He also picked up that there was a significant leg length discrepancy which was a complication of my pelvic fracture. He suggested custom made orthotic insoles which I decided to get through the centre. Nadine who is Mark’s assistant was wonderful. She took the moulds to make the custom made orthotic insoles and ensured they were couriered to me in the UK. I have seen a few podiatrists in the UK but I must say Mark and his team are outstanding. As a paediatric consultant working in the National Health Service in the UK I wish we had such great podiatric professionals working here. I visit my aunty twice a year and will now be going to see Mark and his team on each visit.

6 months ago, i was suffering from a severe planta fascia. Had to stop most of my sport routine (tennis, running etc)
I was advised to meet with Dr Reyneker and the team at Family Podiatry Clinic. After serious examination and testing, the Dr diagnosed and suggested a treatment based on shock waves and wearing insoles.
Combine with self exercises at home -followed via the Clinic efficient App-, this path led me today in resuming running and back totally to normal; with better balance and flexibility
I really appreciated the ability of listening, the guidance and the welcome of the entire team.

Turns out, it was an ingrown toenail and my son felt instant relief. Methods were discussed with the podiatrist and the podiatrist talked to my son in a very respectful way. Asked for his opinions and wanted him to answer the questions. Now my son isn’t scared of going to the doctors.
